Bar Cecil is a homage to Cecil Beaton, a queer British fashion, portrait and war photographer, diarist, painter, and interior designer, as well as an Oscar–winning stage and costume designer for films and the theatre.

It’s quickly become a popular spot in Palm Springs and reservations are hard to come by. That said, if you get there when they open, you have a chance to be seated at the bar.

We loved all the food — I think these were the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had. Another big highlight was the Brock Cocktail — which was an amazing margarita topped with a St. Germain foam!
