We finally had our first, truly immersive experience with @vangoghsf. Not only did they bring the paintings of Vincent van Gogh to life, but the music choices from Édith Piaf to Modest Mussorgsky to Thom York, really connected you emotionally to the work — and in a way that I’ve never gotten in a museum.

I can imagine that there’s a portion of the art world that’s a bit more pure on how you “should” experience art, but as someone with ADHD, being able to be surrounded by a piece of art, with music to boot, really connected me to the work.

There were so many sequences I connected to, but the use of Pictures At An Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky really got me — it was a favorite piece of my parents.
