The largest city in California and the second largest city in the United States, and for me for most of my life, the place next to Disneyland. As a Northern Californian, I was steeped with a built-in disdain of all things Southern Californian. As I’ve grown — and visited Los Angeles more, I’ve really begun to love it — and often prefer it’s food, diversity and energy to what I find up north.
